He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Sims and Levina Clayton Sims; his daughter Rhonda Sims; and his siblings, Barbara Hauch, Larry Sims and William Sims.
He is survived by: his wife Kathie Sims; his children, Renee Costner (Frankie) and Tatum Osorio (Juan); his grandchildren, Renesmee Osorio and Emery Osorio; and his siblings, Patty Winfield (Jerry) and Rodger Sims (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
