He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Reding; his parents, Don Reding and Stella Reding; his brothers, Micheal Reding and Dewayne Reding; and his nephew Christopher Reding.
He is survived by: his son Scott Halbrooks (Jennifer) of Moulton, AL; his grandchildren, Dustyn Halbrooks, Kayla Ramos, Xavier Ramos, Brendan Cryer and Bryant Cryer; his sister Dawn Gargis; his aunt Carolyn Richardson; his niece Haley Clayton; his nephews, Tyler and Ryan Reding; his friend Patrick Collier; and his close friend Shela Clark.
