He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hallman and Annie Bell Hallman; his wife Brenda Ann Hallman; his grandchildren, Christopher Hallman and Jennifer Hallman; and his great grandchild Peyton Stinson.

He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie Gene Hallman (Janet) and Donald Ray Hallman (Neiki Harville); his siblings, Bobby Hallman and Brenda Jones; and his daughter Melissa Gale Brown (Thomas).
