He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolen Hunter and Ruthie Hunter; and his brothers, Jerry Hunter, Roger Hunter and Johnny Paul Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hunter; his children, Danna Russell (Jon) and Samantha Hunter; his grandchildren, Kaylab Hairrell (Brooklyn), Stormy Parker (Cody), Angel Parker (Caleb), Deanie Hairrell, Ameera and Jonah Khatib; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Cash and Levi; and his siblings, Jesse Hunter (Tammy) and Shelia Moffitt (Ronnie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
