She was predeceased by: her husband Newton Elbert Coan; her parents, Wesley Johnson and Bessie Johnson; and her siblings, Pauline Malone, Helen Myrick (Gene), Elen Johnson, Gladys Garrett (Aussie), Essie Lassater (James), Elouise Coggins (D. C.) and Jack Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Roland Coan (Carol), Justin Coan (Marguerite) and Katrina Tyler (Kevin); her grandchildren, Victoria Hayes (Teddy), Robin Coan (Eron), Skylar Rogers, Stacey Rogers (Julianna), Jordan Coan, Canaan Coan and Noah Coan; and her great grandchildren, Owen Hayes, Cassidy Rogers, Alex Hayes, Austyn Rogers, KayLee Coan, Tyler Rogers and Will Coan.
