He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Anderton and Ida Gargis Anderton; his siblings, Austin Anderton, Lewis Anderton, Lester Anderton, Lillian Anderton and Lillie Jane Anderton Borden; and his son Joel Anderton.
He is survived by: his wife Jewel Anderton; his children, Merrell Anderton (Jane), Mark Anderton (Leanne), Karen Hargrove (Tim) and Donna Sellers (Shawn); his daughter-in-law Izettia Anderton; and his grandchildren, David Anderton (April), Crystal Leland (Greg), Leslie Hawkins (Evan), Natalie Phillips (Lauren), Erica Teske (Stephen), Lauren Benavides (Steven), Tyler Sellers (Margaret), Tucker Sellers, Austin Anderton, Chase Anderton (Shannon) and Conner Anderton. He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
