The memory of Betty Kerby of Town Creek, Alabama, who passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Smith and Flossie Whitehead Smith; her husband Ralph Kerby; and her siblings, Floyd A. Smith, Jr., Kenneth Smith, Benny Smith, Billy Smith, Aaron Smith, Helen Sherrod and Gail Smith.
She is survived by: her son Danny Kerby (Lesa); her grandchildren, Chasity Compton (Brian), Jarrod Kerby (Martha) and Brandon Kerby (Leslie); her great grandchildren, Gabe Compton, Addison "Addie" Compton, Noah Compton, Cody Kerby, Josey Kerby and Harper Kerby; and her sisters, Elaine Perkins (Joe) and Dorothy Wilson (Benny). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (12950 AL-157, Moulton, AL 35650). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
