He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond McKinney and Ruth McKinney; his wife Nelda Walker McKinney; his daughter Kimbel Denise McKinney; and his siblings, Ronnie McKinney and Rena Sterling.

He is survived by: his sisters, Rayma Pratt and Rita Mohler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in Charity Cemetery.
