He was predeceased by: his former wife Lenita Cardin Sloan; his parents, Paul Sloan and Laverne Sloan; and his sister Paula Banfield. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Sloan; his daughter Cindy; his son-in-law Ron Comer; his stepchildren, Tim Atchley, Andre Nwamba, Christina, Jimmy Earskine and Gabriel Wilson; his grandchildren, Corey, Amy Schauder, Ronnie Comer, Timothy, Melissa Atchley, Cameron Earskine and Donovan Earskine; and his great grandchildren, Alisa Schauder and Kellen Roberts.
A reception was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home (13921 US-231, Hazel Green, AL 35750).
