He was predeceased by: his daughter Robin Gwin Buckman; his brother Thomas J. "Tommy" Gwin; and his parents, Earl Gwin and Alice Gwin. He is survived by: his wife Faye Gwin; his children, Sandy Burleson, Scott (Michelle Gwin) and His; his granddaughters, Holly Gwin Fishel (Daniel), Candice Gwin, Catherine Gwin Ames (Dylan) and Grace Burleson; and his siblings, Marliyn Ashcraft, Mildred Hitt, His and Aaron Gwin (Jamie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
