He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nickelson and Susie Nickelson; his son Jamie Lee Nickelson; and his brother Billy Wayne Nickelson. He is survived by: his wife Merle Nickelson; his children, Keith Nickelson (Elizabeth), Chris Nickelson (Tabitha) and Nikki Dunnavant (Bradley); and his siblings, Roger Nickelson, Howard Nickelson and Linda Winsett. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
