He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda Ann Worley Pierce; his parents, William Wesley Pierce and Ida Edith Sneed Pierce; his parents-in-law, Henry James Worley and Gladys Bama Turner Worley; and his daughter Ginger Gayle Pierce.
He is survived by: his son Johnny; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Pierce of Toney, AL; his daughter Terrie; his son-in-law John Shull of Huntsville, AL; his sister Linda McBride of Franklin, TN; and his pet Little Duke.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to be made in his memory to the Toney Volunteer Fire Department who had served him respectfully through the years.
