He was predeceased by: his stepson Everett Rice; and his brother Lendon Gravette. He is survived by: his wife Betty Malone Gravette; his stepdaughter Lisa Perry; his children, John R. Gravette and Tracy Renee Venier; his granddaughters, Katie and Kristin; his daughter Joanna Bryant; his grandchildren, Tacoa Russ, Derrick Russ, Alexander Rice, Paul Rice and Ashlyn Gravette; and his siblings, Rickey Gravette, Sheila Gravette and Gail Stewart.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home (13921 US-231, Hazel Green, AL 35750). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
