He is survived by: his wife Betty Guthrie; his son Louis L. Jr.; his daughter-in-law Trista Guthrie; his daughter Liz Behr; his grandchildren, Tabatha Rhodes (David), Mathew Guthrie (Beth), Colton Guthrie (Jen), Dustin Aurand and Autumn Rivera (Rusty); his great grandchildren, Lora, Dawson, Addy, Rainer, Mason and Amelia; and his sister Dovie Sledge. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home (13921 US-231, Hazel Green, AL 35750). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
