He was predeceased by: his father Gary Wade Finley Sr. (Crew Chief Bill Bentley); and his grandparents, Gordon W. and Goldia Finley. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Finley; his wife Misty Finley; his children, Garrett Finley, Austin Finley, Kate Oliver (John), Shasta Finley and Casey Finley; his sister DeeDee Gilbert (David); and his niece Nicole. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and 9 grandchildren.
