She was predeceased by: her son John Winston Stroud; her mother Frances Nabors (Baby Ruth); her stepfather Jesse Lee Nabors; her father Lee Judson Meeks; and her brother Donald Meeks.
She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Moore, Ann Burke (Tommy), Billy McQueen (Donna), Lee Dale Meeks (Rhonda), Jeanette Cobb and Betty Sue Hiebert (Ronnie). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great nephews and cousins.
