He is survived by: his children, Jamie Thornton (Cathy) of Wetumpka, AL, Jerry Thornton (Jennifer) of Marietta, GA and Cheryl Hand of Wetumpka, AL; his sister Martha Rouse of Prattville, AL; and his grandchildren, Chase Thornton, Chandler Thornton, Jackson Hand, Emma Grace Thornton and Joseph Thornton.
