It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Busby of Tibbie, Alabama, born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on June 22, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles B Busby; her parents, Velma Langston and W. J. Langston, Sr.; her brothers, W. J. Langston, Jr., Wiley Langston and Randy Langston; and her grandparents, Nancy Shirley, John Shirley, Pearl Langston and Wiley E. Langston.
She is survived by: her daughters, Yvonne Thornton (Mike), Angie Gilley (Robert), Tammy Carpenter (Charlie), Lynn Caldwell (Jeff), Nancy White and Kelly Cornett (Clint); her stepchildren, Terri Flowers (Terry) and John Kevin Busby; and her siblings, Linda Busby and Wendell Langston (Pat). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
