He is survived by: his wife April Hodge Taylor; his children, Benjie Covington, Jr., Thomas Covington, Jon Alex Taylor (Hannah Singleton Taylor) and Rachael Taylor; his stepfather Wallace Haynes; and his siblings, Thomas Steven Taylor (Kyehee Kang Taylor) and Vicki Welch McTague (Ken McTague).
