We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2021, at the age of 69, Richard Melton of Thorsby, Alabama passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Melton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Grady Lewis Melton. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Mae Simmons McCormick of Thorsby; his wife Teresa Melton of Thorsby; his daughters, Vanessa Dean (Lucas) of Reform and Constance Evans (Brandon) of Thorsby; his grandchildren, Travis Dean of Elyse Dean, T. J, Heather Anne Evans, Liara Evans and Abby Evans; and his sisters, Sue Thomas of Thorsby and Ramona Pierce (Tom) of Thorsby.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the family has elected to hold a graveside service on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 10:00am in the Thorsby Memorial Cemetery in Thorsby, AL with Bro. David Evans officiating.
The family request in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Chilton County Relay For Life benefiting the American Cancer Society.
