It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Stephen White Sr. of Thorsby, Alabama, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Michael Stephen leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Michael Stephen may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac White and Mae Gragg; his brother Larry White; his grandson Michael White, III; and his sister Joan White.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila White; his children, Michael White, Jr. (Keesha), Brent White and Effie Worthington (Farron); and his sister Brenda Swain. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel (1300 4th Ave N, Clanton, AL 35045). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
