She was predeceased by: her mother Ida Catherine Williams; her husband Western Milton Smithwick Sr.; her daughter Patricia Diane Smithwick; and her father John Thomas Williams. She is survived by: her sons, Western Milton Smithwick (Rebecca), Gerald Lester Smithwick and Johnny Leon Smithwick (Karen); and her grandchildren, Rosa Lee Smith, Timothy Milton Smithwick, Shannon Smithwick, Angie Heinlein, Johnny Smithwick, Jr. and Jennifer Bryant. She is also survived by Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
