With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Conaway of Thorsby, Alabama, born in Paris, Texas, who passed away on September 26, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy McCormick and Wilma McCormick; her husband Louis Conaway; and her daughter-in-law Julie Conaway. She is survived by: her children, K. Michael Conaway (Suzanne), Larry Keith Conaway (Diana) and Pamela Jean Gandy (Bill); her daughter-in-law Robin Torke Conaway; her grandchildren, Brian Conaway, Erin Conaway (Carmen), Kellyanne Gandy, Joshua Conaway (Janae), Kara Bell (Brian), Ashley Salyers (Cody), Stephanie Marshall (Rob), Seth Gandy (Jessica) and Malachi Gandy (Brooke); and her caregivers, Sarah, Diedre, Rosalind, Melissa, Dorothy, Dottie, Shalandra and Tonya. She is also survived by her 20 great-grandchildren.
