She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Eugene Cornelius and Vollie Jane Holland Cornelius; her husband Emmett E. Smith; her son Dewayne Smith; her grandson Michael Scott; her son-in-law Rev. Willard Scott; and her brothers, Lee Cornelius, Marvin Cornelius and Alton Cornelius.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Jean Cleckley (Larry) of Clanton, Denise Scott of Jemison, Dennis Eugene Smith (Donna) of Vida, TX and Deborah Marie Jones (Derell) of Thorsby; and her sister Clara Faye Galloway of North Carolina. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.
