Virgil touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Virgil may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Virgil touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil S. Hinson and Flora Jane Hinson. He is survived by: his wife Edith Pettet Hinson; his daughter Cheryl Marie Willis (Ricky); his grandchildren, Michael Willis (Felicia), Timothy Willis (Crystal) and Michelle Willis; and his great grandchildren, Angel Willis, Stephen Willis and Hunter Willis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home (400 W Cahaba Ave, Linden, AL 36748). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Dayton Cemetery.
