He was predeceased by: his parents, Josie Mirl Fendley Megginson and Coma Roy; and his grandson Jerrod Megginson. He is survived by: his children, Coma Roy "Sport" Megginson III (Christie), Roger Glenn Megginson (Chrissy) and Rachelle "Dee Dee" Green (Bruce); his sisters, Martha Jo Powell, Agnes Pugh and Patsy Nell Gates; and his grandchildren, Vincent Roby, Harley Roby, Kayla Shirley, Jonathan Roby, Jason Creech, Patrick Megginson, Brandon Ivey, Kaley Green, John Green, Jr., Robert Green, Brittney Thompson and Dalton Green. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home (34550 US-43, Thomasville, AL 36784). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Midway Baptist Church (1939 Midway Rd, Thomasville, AL 36784).
