We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2024, at the age of 78, Larry Gates of Thomasville, Alabama, born in Dickinson, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Gates and Nedra Gates; his sister Marie Gates; and his grandson Jeff Barnes. He is survived by: his close friend Donna Susan Jones; his children, Larry Gates Jr. (Lori) and Amanda Kim Barnes (Tony); and his brothers, Roger Gates (Jimmy) and Terry Gates (Arlene). He is also survived by three grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
