He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gay Hare; his sister Nancy Elaine Moore; his children, Michael Hare (Tiffany), Susan (Greg Percle) and Jeremy Hare (Holly); and his grandchildren, Walker, Will, Wes, John, Jacob, Joe, Eliza, Anna Kate, Ellen and Mallory.
