Though Clarice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Clarice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. Newton and Nellie Champion Newton; her son Johnny Marcus Harvell; and her siblings, Trave Newton, Arnold Newton and Lucy Hepstall.
She is survived by: her husband Don Harvell; her children, Robert Don Harvell (Dinah), Jerry Len Harvell (Gwen) and Angela Harvell Smith (Robby); and her siblings, James Coleman Newton and Annie Newton Wilkerson. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Kelly Cemetery.
