She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Anderson and Armena Carley Anderson; her husband Webber Wilson Murray; her sister Catherine Murray; and her son David M. Douglas.

She is survived by: her children, Thelma Bunch (John), James "Bubba" Douglas, Norman Douglas (Tina) and Toni Callaghan (Kevin); and her siblings, Robert Anderson (Roberta), Leslie Anderson (Bess) and Carley Anderson (Carolyn). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; her caregiver of many years, Cathy Moses; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
