He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny F. Watkins and Annie Bell Watkins of Opelika, AL; and his siblings, Charles R. Watkins, Fred A. Mitchum, Yvonne Quinton, Polly Grimes and Jean Watkins.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Watkins; and his children, Mike Watkins (Debbie) of Auburn, AL, Dorothy Watkins-Atcheson (Marlin) of Millbrook, AL, Shane Manley (Laura) of Opelika, AL, Lisa Colley of Opelika, AL and Jennifer Day of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
