We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2020, at the age of 84, Nancy Gunter (Theodore, Alabama), born in Sopchoppy, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Alvin Jerome Gunter; her parents, Clarence E. Carraway and Ethel Grimes Myrick; her stepmother Evelyn Carraway; her brother Charles E. Carraway; and her stepsiblings, Buddy Myrick and Wiladean Middleton.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Mildred; her husband William C. Gunter; her children, William T. Gunter (Kim) and Rhonda G. Scelsi (Charles); her grandsons, Drew Scelsi (Sarah) and Matthew Scelsi; her stepsisters, Becki Chavis and Betty Harvell; her siblings-in-law, Byrum Gunter, Shirley Patrick, Lavada Gunter, Hilda Gunter and Betty Carraway; and her close friends, Dewitt and Dolly McCrary. She is also survived by numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives.
