She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Benton Weaver and Barbara Rose Howard Weaver. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Sims and Tony Benton Sims; her grandchildren, Kiara Gros, Christopher Sims, Christina Bolivar, Matthew Sims and Nova Hadley; her great grandchild Anthony West, Jr.; and her siblings, Mike, Mable Weaver, Marilyn Flowers (William) and Sherry Simmons (Bob). She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
