She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy J. Nicholas and Mary E. Nicholas (Jean); her siblings, George Nicholas, Leroy Nicholas and Patricia Nicholas; and her grandson Justin Payne.
She is survived by: her significant other William E. Cotton of Theodore; her children, Jeanne Hay (Norman) of Theodore, William R. Cotton (Debbie) of Grand Bay, Patricia Westbrook of Theodore, Teresa Stewart (Brant) of Theodore, Elizabeth Bowen (Charlie) of Mobile and Nancy Myrick (Allen) of Grand Bay; her grandchildren, Heather Gunn (Donnie), Jonathan Hay (Teresa), Trent Cotton (George), Todd Cotton (Sara), Whitney Cotton, Thomas Cotton (Monica), Colin Westbrook, Katie Hughes (Chris), Aaron Payne, Bryant Payne, Christy Hendon, Amanda Fresolone (Chad), Ashley Plymale (Lilly) and Brittany Devaney (David); and her niece Wendy Mead (Bubba). She is also survived by her family and friends.
