Marla Denise Young, beloved daughter, wife, mother, Gigi, sister, and friend passed at the age of 66 years old in Mobile, Alabama surrounded by loved ones.
Marla was born in Gadsden, Alabama on October 6th, 1955 to Rev. Daniel James Franklin Mosier and Ola Vera (Mooney) Mosier.
Beloved wife and best friend of 48 years, Marla embraced life and made everyone around her feel like they belonged. Her passion for history, remarkable craftsmanship, and inability to meet a stranger or stray is remembered by loved ones. Marla's drive for success earned her 2 Masters Degrees and served as a National Archivist for the United States of America. Her most cherished role was living life by Christ's love - pure and kind.
Memorial Services will be held at Cloverleaf Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama on Monday, August 8th. Details below:

Survived by her husband, Bobby Young, daughter, Skye Coleman, son-in-law, Jason Coleman, grand-daughter, Emma Coleman, brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Donna Mosier, their children and grandchildren Justin and Jelane Mosier; Roman and London Mosier; sister and brother -in-law, Jim and Deanna Patterson; their children and grandchildren, Todd and Norby Patterson, Megan and Jordan Patterson; Teri Patterson, Casey Carr, Madison Carr and Stephen Carr. Friends and dogs from all over the world - Marla was kind, loving and forgiving.
Marla's legacy belongs to knowing someday she will meet her loved ones in the place Jesus prepared.
