It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan A. Sanspree (Theodore, Alabama), who passed away on April 13, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Burris and Isabelle Cortez Burris; her husband Richard Sanspree, Sr.; and her son Matthew Lewis Sanspree. She is survived by: her children, Patty Ann Alvis, Joan Marie Sutton (Harold C.), Mitzie Suzette LaCoste (Phillip), Richard Sanspree, Jr. (Sindi Baugh), John Edward Sanspree, Steven Michael Sanspree and Robert Eugene Sanspree (Colonda); and her siblings, Rosie Curry and Hank Burris. She is also survived by 42 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
