He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Brown and Marcella Griffin Brown. He is survived by: his wife Merle Butler Brown; his children, Melanie Brown, Janet White (Mickey), Angela Hildreth (Chris), Diana Brown, Eddie Lane (Ronna), Erika Garcia (Eduardo) and Amber Carmichael; and his brother Paul Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made in Don's honor to the Missions Fund at Lighthouse Baptist Church.
