It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth (Hobbs) Cornelius of Tarrant, Alabama, who passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Charles L. Cornelius, Sr.; her children, Charles L. "Chip" Cornelius, Jr. (Karen) and Lynne Cornelius Means (Roger); her sister Sarah Moore; her grandchildren, Carlee Elizabeth Means Green (Jason), Coleman K. Cornelius and Charles W. Cornelius; and her great grandchildren, Amelia "Millie" Scott Green and Nathan "Nate" Lee Green. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
