He is survived by: his wife Jan Lay; and his children, Jimmie Herbert Lay (Kelli), Stephen Christopher Lay (Kristen), Jeanna Veal (Andy) and Tennelle Ryg (Jeff). He is also survived by 6 brothers; 3 sisters; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
