He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Stephanie Suzanne Nix and James Brian Nix (Patricia); his stepgrandson Coy Parrish (Amanda); his great grandchild Adyln; and his siblings, Doris Wurtele (Andy) and David Nix (Stephany). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
