He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry A. Walker and Lola M. Walker; his brother Wesley Walker; and his great grandchild Saylor James Adams. He is survived by: his wife Myra Simpson Walker; his daughters, Pamela Walker Adams (Larry) and Kristi Lynn Taylor; his grandsons, Joshua Lyle Reeves (Amanda), Jesse Lawrence Adams (Sarah) and Kyle Oliver Taylor; his great grandchildren, Rebecca Brooke Reeves and Emmett Lowell Adams; and his sisters, Sophia Arrington and Carol Parsley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
