He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewitt Driskell and Iva Pierce Driskell; and his siblings, Bertran Driskell, Ralph Driskell, Murray Driskell, Linwood Driskell, Blake Driskell, Unavay Byrd, Lois Pierce and Betty Vickery.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rowell Driskell; his children, Sharon Dickens (Carl) and Brian Driskell (Stacey); his grandson Graham Driskell (Zelda); and his siblings, Julette Smith, Agnes Goff, Everette Driskell (Bonita) and Basil Driskell. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, other family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palestine Missionary Baptist Church, Post Office Box 17, Wilmer, Alabama 36587.
