He is survived by: his wife Maria Teresa Cardenas-Velador; his children, Luis Duenas, Guadalupe, Araceli, Judith, Julieta, Susana, Maria, Sandra, Yolanda, Ana, Maribel and Daniela Duenas-Cardenas; and his siblings, Jose Luis, Eduardo, Antonio Duenas-Huerta, Beatriz, Carmela, Rosalinda and Veronica Duenas-Huerta. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren.
