He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Smith. He is survived by: his children, Monica Smith, Melissa Smith, Joseph "Jes" Smith, Timothy Smith and Hope Scott; and his sisters, Kay Pirkle (Larry), Mary Carolyn Sheppard and JoAnn Ryan (Farrel). He is also survived by six grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family, friends.
