She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter White and Eve McWhiter; her husband Walter Raymond Lewis; and her son E. W. Lewis. She is survived by: her children, Leonard Lewis (Barbara), Walter Lewis (Brenda), David Lewis (Kathy), Dorothy Tipton (Dale), Janice Blelew (Randy) and Kala Gist (Dale). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren.
