He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Smith and Lexie Bolen Smith; his siblings, Brenda Suzanne Peters (Carl) and Timothy Shawn Smith; his daughter Brandy Brown; and his son-in-law Jimmy O'Neal Kyzar.
He is survived by: his wife Jamie Joe Smith; his brothers, Edward Dean Smith (Beverly) and Vaudy Scott Smith (Debbie); his children, Kelly Suzanne Smith, Bethany Dale Johnson (Kenny), Jody Parker (Donnie) and Stephen Brown; and his grandchildren, Brittany Brewer (Trey), Seth Johnson (Katherine), Gabrielle Kyzar, Heather Obregon Alarcon (Carlos) and Rachel Backlin (Tracy). He is also survived by Four great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
