She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Floyd Griggs and Ellen Lucile Griggs; and her siblings, Howard Charles Griggs, Geneva Messer and Nellie Alexander.

She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Dantro and Jamie Dantro (Patricia Healey); her brother-in-law Charles Messer; and her grandchildren, Trent Hudson, Anna Claire Dantro, Jacob Dantro, Lilian Davis, Riley Dantro and River Dantro.
