We bid farewell to Shirley Susan Davidson of Tallassee, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 7, 2025 at the age of 75. Shirley Susan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Jackson; and her grandson Brooks Allen Davidson. She is survived by: her father Harry Jackson; her husband David Davidson; her children, Joey Davidson (Lisa Davidson) and Andy Davidson (Alicia Davidson); her grandchildren, Austin Davidson, Chloe Davidson, Carter Davidson, Alexandra Arnold, Braden Arnold and Will Smith; and her siblings, Ann Roy, Tom Jackson (Kathryn), Patricia Langston (David), Karen Jackson, Jenny Schaefer (Lenny), Lee Jackson (Nancy), Clare Reading (Bill) and Nancy Bradford (John). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Linville Memorial Funeral Home (84632 Tallassee Hwy, Eclectic, AL 36024). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Tallassee (1 Jordan Ave, Tallassee, AL 36078).
In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored by memorial contributions to any Leukemia foundation of choice.
