She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Chambliss and Elizabeth Lay Chambliss; her grandson Galen Golden; and her great grandchild Brooks Allen Davidson. She is survived by: her husband Harry Ural Jackson; and her children, Susan Davidson (David), Ann Roy, Tom Jackson (Kathryn), Patricia Langston (David), Karen Jackson, Jenny Schaefer (Lenny), Lee Jackson (Nancy), Clare Reading (Bill) and Nancy Bradford (John). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored by memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
