She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew Goodwin Hornsby. She is survived by: her siblings, Doris Balfour and Wayne Hammock; her children, Patsy Huey, Janice Scarrette (David) and Larry Hornsby (Carol); her grandson Pamela Thornell; and also, Alicia Diego (Miguel), Beth Acreman, Martha Thornell, Laurie Knowles (Steve), Melissa Garnett-Shouse, Andrea Hannifan, Drew Hornsby (Miranda) and Laura Hornsby Lesley (Justin).
Donations in Mrs. Hornsby's memory may be directed to the Larry G. and Carol C. Hornsby Family Endowed Scholarship in Nurse Anesthesia at the UAB School of Nursing or the Village at Cook Springs Activities Department.
